Preserving your pet can be an emotional and difficult decision to make. We want to provide a professional and comforting experience for all of our pet parents and families.
WHAT IS PET PRESERVATION?
Pet preservation is a form of taxidermy that is accomplished through the freeze-drying method.
During this operation, pets are prepared and carefully placed within our freeze dryer machine. The chamber is set to an extremely low temperature all while a vacuum is pulling out moisture as the temperature slowly rises over time. Freeze-drying is a long process taking between 3-12 months to complete depending on the size of the pet.
WHAT SHOULD I DO ONCE MY PET HAS PASSED?
Aftercare preparation can be a difficult subject to think about, but we are here to help however we can.
The most important rule of thumb is to wrap your pet well and place them into a freezer as quickly as possible after they have passed on.
Once they have been placed in a freezer they will be fine to remain there for quite sometime. Giving you plenty of time to think about your next step and make the best decision for your pet and your family.
GETTING YOUR PET TO BEYOND THE RAINBOW
We are located in central Arkansas, however we are able to receive pets from nationwide. There are 3 different ways to get your pet to us.
1) SHIPPING: We receive many pets through the mail using special instructions to ensure their safety during travel.
2) PICK UP SERVICE: We provide a pickup service for our clients that do not feel comfortable with the shipping method. (The standard cents per mile rate applies. A hotel fee may also apply depending on the distance.)
3) DRIVE TO BTR: Clients are more than welcome to drive their pets to our facility if they so chose. We provide a list of instructions to ensure safe travel for your pet.
OUR PRICING
Our pricing is based off of the weight and preferred positioning of your pet.
We have a standard fee of $950 for up to the first ten pounds. This is for a lying down sleeping position. If our clients wish to have the eyes open, it is an additional charge of $100 as we provide custom glass eyes.
For a position with the head up, it is an additional fee of $150.
An additional fee of $50 per pound will be added to the total price for every pound after the first ten pounds.
PAYMENT PLANS ARE AVAILABLE
AT LEAST 10% OF THE OVERALL COST IS REQUIRED AS AN INITIAL DEPOPSIT.
OWNER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING COSTS UPON RETURN
